Implementation Specialist
Position Summary
As an Implementation Specialist, you will help healthcare and social service agencies adopt our software by replicating and enhancing their documentation workflows on our platform. This entails tailoring our existing functionality to meet the needs of the agency’s internal programming as well as their external reporting requirements. The role requires a blend of customer support, technical expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and workflow requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including IT professionals, program directors, and administrators.
Implementation Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive implementation plans tailored to each client’s environment.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
Product Configuration
- Configure our SaaS solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality and interoperability of the implemented systems.
Training and Support
- Provide training sessions for end-users and administrators on our SaaS products.
- Offer ongoing support to resolve any issues or challenges during and after the implementation phase.
Documentation
- Create and maintain detailed documentation related to the implementation process.
- Develop training materials and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Continuous Improvement
- Gather feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement in our products and implementation processes.
- Collaborate with the product development team to enhance the functionality and usability of our solutions.
Required Skills & Traits
- Must have a 4-year college degree
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (data aggregation, pivot tables).
- Must have some experience working in CRMs, EMHRs, and/or data tracking applications.
- Must reside in the Kansas City metro area.
- Exposure to SQL and/or relational databases preferred.
What Success Looks Like
- Within 1 month: You have a good understanding of our software and its hierarchy. You are able to complete testing on its main functionality and create new forms, programs, services, and client records.
- Within 3 months: You are assisting in implementations and learning more about the advanced features. You can write queries to our database and have a basic understanding of our database table structure.
- Within 6 months: You are leading smaller implementations independently, answering advanced technical questions about our software’s functionalities and limitations. You are creating thorough workflow documentation for agencies and are known as the main point of contact for several agencies.
- Within 12 months: You are leading larger implementations independently. You can create custom queries to troubleshoot complex issues. You are finding bugs, logging issues, creating workplans, and implementing solutions without any assistance. You are providing feedback to our sales, development, and leadership teams about user experience.
